Meet Tonyita Johnson: The Heart Behind It All
With 20 years of experience in customer relationship management and community engagement, Tonyita is all about building connections that lift up individuals and organizations. Her passion lies in empowering marginalized communities, including but not limited to those affected by incarceration, disabilities, and substance misuse. Over the past decade, she has worked alongside impactful nonprofits and created partnerships that make a difference.
In 2021, Tonyita embraced a new chapter as an independent consultant, which led her to launch Out The Box Connections, LLC, in February 2025. As an inspiring speaker, and emcee, she’s on a mission to spread positivity and empowerment. She also designs creative movement merchandise that embodies the spirit of transformation and supports true community reform - starting with the individual, then the family, and ultimately, the community. Beyond her professional endeavors, Tonyita is a devoted believer, loving spouse, proud mom and a blessed Honey G, she also host a program titled "Out The Box with Tonyita Shawnee'."
With a big heart and a resilient spirit, Tonyita turns her challenges into lessons that can benefit others. She's committed to sharing the wisdom and driving real change.
